Harvey Kalsi
I've worked with children for the last 25 years and opened Cherry Tree Nurseries in December 2007.
I have a great passion for working with children and their families and always strive to get the best outcomes for the children, their families and my team. I want the nursery to feel like a home away from home, while maintaining good learning and development opportunities for the children.
Nursery Manager
Janine Brown
I have completed my Level 5 in Leadership and Management.
I am really looking forward to using my new skills to support and develop the staff team. I still really enjoy being in the room with the children and getting involved with their activities, and also welcoming the families at the door on their arrival. I started my journey as a nursery apprentice and worked my way up to manager over the years.
Deputy Manager
Casey Devoisey
I am level 3 qualified and currently working towards my Level 5. I have been working in nurseries for the last 8 years.
I love being part of the children's learning and development. I have experience in working with SEN children and supporting them in reaching their targets. I enjoy my role of deputy manager and enjoy supporting the manager in the day to day running of the nursery.
Assistant Deputy Manager/Preschool Room Leader
Leonie Gilks
I am Level 3 qualified and currently working towards my Level 5 qualification. I am based in the preschool room.
I have spent time working with the children in all of the rooms, but my favourite is preschool. I love having conversations with them and discovering each of their personalities, they never fail to make me laugh each day. I enjoy creating events to go along with our theme like trips to the farm, or sessions getting the families involved.
Cook/Domestic Assistant

I am Harvey's mum. I have my food hygeine certificate and have been a cook for the last 8 years
I enjoy making a veried menu of meals for the children that are balanced and that meets their dietary requirements. When I joined the nursery, Harvey would call me mum and a few children copied her and from there most children think thats my name.I am a level 3 qualified with many years experience in childcare.
Babies Room Leader

I am Level 3 qualified and have been working with children for the last 9 years.
I love watching and helping the children learn, grow and reach their full potential. I enjoy creating different tuff trays of activities based on different themes, for the children to enjoy and I love joining in with their imaginative play.

I am level 2 qualified and based in the baby room.
I enjoy working within the baby room, watching them grow and become more independent. The youngest baby I have looked after being 7 weeks old, makes me feel such pride that parents trust us.

I work part time supporting in the baby room.
I find working in the baby room very rewarding as i have a part in helping them reach some of their first milestones.

I have recently completed my Level 2 qualification now working towards my Level 3. I am based in the baby room.
I enjoy working as part of the team at Cherry Tree. I have enjoyed building bonds with the children and love being a part of their learning experiences. I really enjoy singing and dancing with the children and turn everything into a fun song!

I am level 3 qualified and have been working here since it first opened.
I enjoy leading the toddler room supporting both staff and children. We are always busy in the room we dance, sing and love to be creative. No two days are the same!
Toddler room leader - Binley

I am level 2 qualified and am currently working towards gainin my level 3.
I enjoy running the toddler room and being part of the childrens learning and developement, it makes me happy to see the progress they make and know I have helped them with that. I especially enjoy setting up new activities based on that weeks theme for the children to enjoy and explore.

I enjoy working in the toddler room supporting the room leader, and helping the children learn through play.

I am level 2 qualified and currently working towards my level 3. I am based in the toddler room.
I really enjoy being a memeber of staff at Cherry Tree. I continue to learn new things each day and look how I can implement that into my practice. My favourite thing to do is 'crazy dancing' with the children, we have so much fun!

I love being a part of the team at Cherry Tree. I enjoy being able to help the children learn and develop new things everyday! My favourite thing to do with the children is dancing and singing seeing how happy it makes them.

Senior Nursery Nurse - Tile Hill

I am level 3 qualified. I am based in the preschool room.
Previously I have worked as a childminder. In the preschool room I enjoy working in larger groups being able to support the children in becoming school ready and gaining their independence. I also enjoy craft activities with them building on their fine motor skills and their imaginations.

I am finding this job very rewarding knowing I am a big part in the childrens learning and development. I really enjoy carrying out smaller group and one to one activities. I love being part of their 'getting ready for big school' journey.

I am EYE Level 3 qualified and have also acheived my Level 3 SENCO qualification. i graduated from Coventry University in BSC Biosciences and I am currently working towards my Early Years Teacher Status.
I am passionate about supporting all children, especially those with SEND. I really enjoy carrying out the 1 to 1 activities with the children, working from their support plans. I strive to help them achieve their best outcomes. I enjoy being creative within the nursery settings and seeing all the creative work from the children.
